How to use this tool

This tool uses Google Maps to calculate distance, route and arrival time based on current traffic conditions in your area.

  1. Enter your location — start typing your current location and pick a suggestion. This is where you'll begin driving from.
  2. Add a passenger pickup (optional) — if you need to drive to the passenger before the destination, click "Add passenger pickup location" and enter their address.
  3. Enter the drop-off — where the passenger needs to go.
  4. Add fuel price, mileage & margin — the price you pay at the pump, how far your car goes on one litre (or gallon), plus any profit margin (percentage or flat).
  5. Hit Calculate — see the fare, total distance, drive time and arrival time. Tick "Save this address" on locations you use often so they auto-fill next time.

Frequently asked questions

How is the distance calculated?

Google Maps calculates the actual driving route between your locations and gives the distance in km or miles based on your region.

Why does the arrival time keep changing?

Arrival time uses live traffic conditions, so it updates each time you calculate. The time shown is your local time, based on the drop-off location's time zone.

What's the difference between % and flat margin?

% adds a proportion of the fuel cost — good for long trips. Flat adds a fixed amount — good for short trips where a percentage would be too small.

Are my saved addresses private?

Yes. Saved addresses live in your browser's local storage on your device only. Nothing is sent to a server.

Why am I asked to verify I'm not a robot?

To keep the tool free and fast for everyone, we limit how many address suggestions one session can use. After the limit, a quick captcha unlocks more lookups.
